Types of Floor System

Hambro Flooring System

The Hambro D500 composite floor consists of an open web steel joist with a typical 3" concrete topping. The open web design of the joist allows for the chasing of mechanical, electrical and plumbing lines, eliminating the need for dropped ceilings and soffits. The design flexibility of Hambro allows it to bear on concrete block, masonry, structural steel, metal studs, precast walls, ICF block, and wood construction. Joist depth varies from 8" to 24" in 2" increments. The composite nature of the Hambro joists allows for increased spanning capabilities (up to 43' - 0"), which eliminate interior load bearing walls and provide for a reduction in the overall weight of the building, minimizing foundation costs. Roll bars and reusable plywood forms are used for installation and can be stripped the day after the pour, or once the concrete reaches 500 psi. No shoring or re-shoring is needed. . Hambro is an excellent choice for your structural flooring needs. The Hambro Sales Representative is Anna Ioannidis who can be reached at 407-312-5978.

Miami Deck Metal Decking

Miami deck bar joists can go to a sixty foot span with approximate depth depending on length without shoring. Then metal corrugated sheet will be layered in a perpendicular way . and tack weld to the top plate of the joists. Sheets of wire mesh 6"x6" will be laid down on top of these metal sheets. Then X cross bridging will be welded in between joist to hold them straight during the pour . 3" to 4" pour of lightweight concrete is commonly use for these installations.

Baily Com Slab on Delta Beams

The metal panels can be flowed on solid concrete beams or others as showed here on Delta beams.these panels have deep v shaped grooves where a #5 rebar has to be attached at the bottom with clips and self drilling screws. On the ends of these panel will be some end caps shot into tie beam or metal beams. Then the panels will screw to that end cap with self drilling screws. Shoring may be needed. As other system used indicated amount of light weight concrete.

American and Soprano Floors

This system are precast concrete planks instead of metal finished on top with 1" thin coat

Also doing conventional stick frame decking with 4"x6" stringer on top of post-shores and 4"/4" perpendicular on 16" center with 3/4" plywood deck and mats of steel and wire-mesh.
